Silent Wish

Suffocating in silence,
Consumed by darkness.
No one will understand,
The anguish they withstand.

Hidden within those eyes,
Their sorrowful tale lies.
Not one soul will take heed,
To what they really need.

They wish to be good,
Never to be rude.
But they lack faith,
So they always crave.

They hope to succeed,
But nothing takes seed.
They can never win,
Against the storm's wind.

Vain are their tears,
As none hears,
Their angered cries.
Sanity abused, now dies.

They wish not for pity,
But for the two to be in unity.
So that they may please both,
At the guidance of a dove.

Innocence of Guilty

Running...running...
Always...always...
Away from cruelty...
A coward denying reality...

Facing not the world,
Full of suffering,
Inequality and
Sorrow...

Accepting not the fate,
Of a renegade from home.
Surviving from the highest,
Living lower than the lowest.

Rejecting...everything...
Crying...crying...all alone,
"Murderer...murderer..."
They call me...over and over...

Wasn't my fault...
Wasn't me at all...
No one will hear...
Cries of a 'killer'...

Falling...falling...
Losing...losing...
Stripped from sanity...
Tormented,body,soul and mind.

Slowly...slowly...
Sinking lower and lower.
Screams heard louder and louder,
Since the day of betrayal...

Dying...dying...
A rotten corpse,
Farewells not needed,
For the innocence of guilty.

Humans

Blinded by greed,
They carry on in life.
Take or be taken,
They slowly past through.

Wishing for the unattainable,
They strife for victory.
Their determination,
To achieve their goals.

Thinking not of others,
Stealing whatever they like.
Never knowing the hatred,
They build at their backs.

They are cruel,
Cold to the very bone,
Hurting others without a care,
Knowing not of the consequence.

They live on...
Never ending tears they shed.
Upon the road of life,
Theirs and others.

Until the end of eternity,
Their sins will not
be forgiven.
Theirs and others...

An answered Prayer

Surrounded by darkness,
Longing for the light.
A chained prisoner,
Striving for freedom.

A wondering child,
Hoping for a home.
A lowly stranger,
Yearning to be love.

A being without purpose,
Wanting to just disappear.
Atop this building,
At the very edge I stand.

Wishing all the pain,
Would just go away.
Stepping of this ledge,
Ready to depart this world.

But then hearing a voice,
Stopping, seeking its source.
Standing there,
An unknown figure.

Words of comfort spoken,
"If you are searching the light,
I will be your light,
And guide you through life."

"If you seek freedom,
I will grant you wings,
If you wish for love,
So shall you'll receive."

Holding out your arms,
You embrace me with warmth.
Wiping the tears I shed,
Saving me from the tortured past.
