Regrettable

When I see your face,
I am reminded,
Of the past we put to the grave.

Regret swirls around the place,
Mocking me,
Wanting my entire world to cave.

When I see those places,
I am reminded,
That I cannot remember.

All those things and faces,
I use to love,
All go down and timber.

I wish to relive that time,
The joy I felt,
Moments I deemed unforgettable.

I would give many a dime,
To regain them,
Those memories I had deemed unforgettable.

Give them back to me!
Oh how I plead,
Return what has been stolen from I!

I kneel before thee,
If not returned,
I'll surely loose it and die.

Die I will from depression,
Thou does not know,
How it pains me not being able to remember.

I am here, making my confession,
Thou has mercy,
And let me not go in a clamber.
